Catharsis Exercises
Traditional methods were designed thousands of years back when the human body, emotion, and mind were not so complex, blocked and repressed.
Today's life is only a mental world, which is what Kaliyuga means: to live in a world of darkness where thought has become everything and real, live experiences of life are clouded by thoughts, ideas, confusions and concepts. So keeping that in mind your body, mind and energy have to become unrepressed and flowing, only then traditional methods will work.
Spirituality is like fruits and flowers of a tree: for that you have to water the roots, not operate the branches. That's what people are doing in the name of spirituality. Same is with material life - you try to be successful, which is like having fruits, but your roots, your body-mind, are blocked. You try to operate your branches, trying to find ways through thinking and exhaust yourself hence what you do has no power, energy, hence failure happens. This is not about lack of good ideas, but lack of vital force to invest.
Wisdom is a flow not a thought. Our bodies, our mind and our energies need to express and flow without judgment. We essentially long for not self-realization, but self-actualization: to be able to express what you are inside, which gets compromised in our social life. Repression of sexuality and emotion. This creates a neurosis and mind fuck in life, we slowly get used to this life energy style and live like half-dead humans. Our talents and potentials are not thoughts but energy flow.
So to discover your unique potential it's important that you put effort fiercely and make your body, mind energy flowing. In you, you will discover many good things and creativities about yourself, which you have forgotten in the crowd of thoughts and struggle of relations.
Kundalini Meditation
This is a powerful process for experiencing a totality of action, followed by a totality of stillness. It works wonders for releasing suppressed emotions, and developing a strong willpower. This is the primary catharsis method, the others wor as supplements to support this one.

Gibberish Meditation
As soon as you get up, write three pages, whatever is coming in your mind, about your life relations, the things you do not say to anybody. Slowly your mind and thinking will become clear, you will develop a healthy honesty with yourself.
