Before you join, you must agree to the following

One thing we can promise you, is that your expectations will not be met.

People have a twisted idea of what spiritual people (swamis, gurus, sages, monks etc.) should be like. Holy, pure, inoffensive, always gentle and meek. If you have these kinds of expectations, you’re in for a surprise.

Satya Ji makes no claims of being an enlightened guru. He is an evolving human being devoted to life and activating his fellow travellers. He has many faces - sometimes gentle, sometimes fiery, sometimes soft, sometimes ruthless, sometimes poetic, sometimes crude - what ever is needed to cut to the Truth. To us, Satya Ji’s very character is a living lesson that being spiritual is not about being “perfect”, pure and holy - it is about becoming like Life, like nature, which is gentle and ferocious, creative and destructive - all in one.

Satya Ji is direct and curt as a teacher, so please respect the guidelines, or you can be removed.

Guidelines for participation

When you join, you must use your real name and upload a recent picture of yourself and make it visible in your privacy settings

Satya Ji is opening himself up to all of us, emotionally and energetically. We reflect this with a similar offering of vulnerability, sincerity and respect. Instructions on how to do this are explained later on in this post.

You can join the Satya’s Mirror chat to engage in reflection and discussion.

This is a place where you can let us know if something resonated with you, or if you want to express your gratitude or inspiration in some form, such as sharing poetry and works of art as a way of expressing reverence and celebrating Life.

It is also a place where you can ask practical questions and clarifications. But before you ask - ask yourself: is it necessary? Is it really a relevant question to your life? Is it just a theoretical inquiry, an attempt to seek attention/ validation, or a sincere inquiry that will lead to action?

Most questions are mental itches of the ego trying to feel clever or like a victim, and are often accompanied by lengthy, unnecessary stories of personal struggle/ triumph. These ego questions are a big drain on Satya Ji’s energy, as they never lead to any constructive change, they just consume energy and attention like a black hole, affecting everyone’s experience of the channel. So if your question does not resonate as sincere and action-oriented, it will not be replied to.

We also recommend that before asking questions, try some of Satya Ji’s exercises - they will clear up most of your issues.

NOTE - We do not tolerate any abuse or insults between members. Any hateful, or malicious content will result in expulsion.

Money

We offer a lot of valuable content for free through our YouTube channel,  website and Telegram channel (online ashram). For those who feel called towards deeper engagement with Satya ji, there are live talks, workshops and programs.

Please note that we charge for talks, workshops and programs.

Here is why we charge money:

  1. To carry out the work to the best of our abilities, sustainably and with dignity.

  2. To invest in expanding our offerings & community, so that we can reach and activate more humans.

  3. Payment is also a form of commitment and motivation for the seeker. Wisdom is not about concepts, it is an energy that flows. Money is also an energy that flows ( hence it’s called currency). To receive wisdom into one’s system, one must make a sincere offering. Otherwise it will not work for you. If this explanation doesn’t make sense to you, here is a more psychology-based version. The modern psyche does not understand value, it understands price. People devalue and take for granted that which is given for free. There is no point in you attending if you are not totally involved and receptive. Price is a genuine means to invoke your commitment to yourself.

Some people seem to feel we should not charge money for the service we are making available. If you have some issue or objection to this, you do not have to come and participate with us. There are other communities out there that might be more aligned with you.

If you are in a position where you genuinely cannot afford to pay, we may be able to find alternative arrangements, such as volunteering. Reach out to @jitramesh on Telegram.
